Fantasy Inspired Vintage Paper and Ephemera Art

I have been writing about Etsy stores and talented crafts men and women for over 2 years now, and I honestly can say I’ve reached the point where nothing could surprise me.
I think I have seen it all.
Handmade necklaces from sea-shells, beautiful crochet patterns that look impossible to make and more wall art than you can imagine. I thought I have seen it all. But I was wrong.

Old Papers Will Never Die

The old newspaper is thought to be dead. People take their media these days from the internet, in forms of websites, blogs, youtube videos and podcasts. And the real newspaper? It has lost it’s touch with black and white strong prints and magazine editorials.

I have this memory in my head of me, as a 9 year old girl, sitting in art class making paper collages from newspaper clippings, the old kind… The grey and brown kind. And that memory became vivid when I found an Etsy store owned by Felicia.
IN her Etsy store FlyMeToTheMoon57, Felicia proves that the old print is not dead. It has a special place on our walls, combining the old words with new fantasy stories and trends.
I am officially WOWed.

In her Etsy store, this talented woman also gave us simple signs, for the bath and toilet rooms in the house, that send out a simple message while being all crafty and with a vintage vibe:

Harry Potter Vintage Wall Art

On top of being an artistic girl, I was also one of the many who fell in love with Harry Potter, sitting everyday next to the mailbox, waiting for the mailman to deliver my Hogwarts invite letter. It never came, but Felicia found a way to help me relive that fantasy and treasure those youthful innocent days… By combining old newspaper pages with beautiful images from the famous magic school- she made me smile for a moment. And I think that she could make you smile too!
