Wearable Bits of the Universe

There are a few accessories and items that every woman needs to have in her life:
One black dress, a winning match-all bag, a stylish watch, comfy shoes, and a statement piece of jewelry.

Statement jewelry items are mostly necklaces, earrings or bracelets that send out a message, that look unique and attract people’s attention to you right away. While some women shop for statement jewelry items on websites like Ali Express, I think that it kinda defeats the purpose. I mean, how unique can you be if you’re wearing something you got from a wholesale seller? The necklace you’ll be wearing will be mass produced and about 2,000 more women will wear it.

So…. You want unique? Try ETSY.
Etsy, the online market for handmade goods, is one of the best places to find unique items that are NOT mass-produced and are often OOAK- One of a kind!
I set out to find the best statement jewelry items on Etsy and found one amazing store from Washington called: AlchemieAdornment.
The store is owned by Katie Elizabeth who managed to maintain a 5 star rating (perfect score) after selling over 400 items of joy!

Silver Boho Pendant, Turquoise Pendant, Amber Pendant, Tribal Fusion Bellydance Pendant, Sterling Pendant, Bohemian Pendant Tribal Fusion Earrings, Boho Bellydance Earrings, Ethnic Chandelier Earrings, Ghost Quartz Earrings, Moroccan Earrings, Lodolite Earrings Tribal Fusion Earrings, Boho Bellydance Earrings, Ethnic Chandelier Earrings, Moroccan Earrings, Seashell Earrings, Talisman Tribal Fusion Necklace, Talhakimt Tanfouk Necklace, Crystal Necklace, Antique Tribal Jewelry, Boho Belly Dance Necklace, African Necklace

Her work is unique and perfect as she takes special attention to all the little details, and the end-result is flawless. There’s a distinct tribal feeling in her store, as if these jewelry items were made for some long-night-fire-initiation of a new tribe member.
Their style is so culturally unique that wearing one of Katie’s handmade necklaces in the States, Canada, Australia or Europe- would turn heads around.

Katie started creating beautiful jewelry items back in 2012, but she didn’t did it to enjoy the art or even to sell it. She did it as it was her outlet from PTSD. Something I can relate to more than all of the other store owners I’ve written about before.

I can honestly say that reading her story (you can find it in her store’s about us section) made me do some thinking. I wanted, for a long time now to open my own store, with bags and pouches I make to manage my post combat PTSD- and she just proved to me that it’s possible.
You can be a beautiful woman, be “sick”, stay strong, make amazing things, and be successful.

And to all of you out there-
visit Katie’s store, see her awesome creations and buy them-
before someone else will-
cause her items are one of a kind!
