Well, you all know by now that I am an Etsy addict, and as such, I always have the best and most exciting Etsy stores to recommend on! The store is called would make everything smell amazing: Olfactory Archeology.
Nicole Aileen, the store owner, refers to her shop with one sentence that says it all- Beautiful Candles inspired by history- without the Synthetic Fragrance. I cannot emphasis enough how important it is to have natural scented candles around you, made from the right materials… Cause many people forget that candles don’t just make light- they also burn, and with that, release their substance into the air we breath.
I was often getting sore throat from inhaling regular candles that made the air feel waxi and sticky for me. When I looked at the materials that Nicole was using for her handmade candles– I was a happy camper. Not only is she using essential oil in order to make them smell so good, but she’s also using soy wax for the candle base and recycled glass for the candles holder. Which is a great plus for me.
