I love the art work, the different styles you can see, the fact that you can get unique OOAK items from all ends of the earth, and mostly- the beautiful stories behind each store. Benedicte, owner of MadeInFamily Etsy store- has just that story
Making jewelry, designing them and crafting them to perfection– is an art. However, while a lot of artists have always lived with their passion for beauty and creativity- some of them find art as their second chapter in life, after they have lived a totally different routine before, studied other things and had well established careers.
Benedicte, a wonderful jewelry designer from Paris, has just that story.
This talented jewelry designer actually started her grown up life practicing a different kind of art… LAW. After being a lawyer and spending “too much time” in that business, Benedicte decided she wants to do something else… She had found the greatest passion in her life (“after being a mom”) and that was- jewelry design.
She started with that passion of creating something with 2 hands, and her love for unique accessories has brought her to jewelry design. My personal take on that? Better and happier life making jewels than being in court all day!
A family business? Always a pleasure
Leaving a high-stress job, like law practice, is rewarding on it’s own… But in some cases- it can become a true life changer even when you look at life outside of your career. In Benedicte’s case it was just that.
All that time that she now had to be at home brought her closer to her family, and as she started her jewelry business- they helped!
